Across the country today, not just in Boston and San Francisco, in leading and emerging life science clusters, life sciences institutions and innovative companies are working on cell and gene therapies, corona virus vaccines and drugs, and new bioengineering technologies that have the potential to change the way we feed, fuel and heal the world.
What makes these clusters leading hubs for venture capital, patents, lab space, jobs and NIH funding? What is the secret sauce that propels their growth?
NYC Builds Bio+ and Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN) hosted an in-depth look at the leading and emerging life science clusters. Meet the key players in each of these areas and participate in an interactive discussion with thought leaders from these clusters about what’s coming next in science and medicine across the country.
This was the first in a series of seminars that will focus on the San Diego and Seattle life science clusters, what the future looks like and how they have grown and developed. Future webinars will focus on Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, the BioHealth Capital Region, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Atlanta, Houston and Chicago.
