Builds Bio+ successfully hosted an enriching Life Science Study Tour in London/UK, providing a unique and meticulously curated experience for those eager to delve into the world of biomedical innovation. From April 23 to 25, 2024, participants explored key locations within London/UK’s vibrant life science ecosystem, recognized globally for its blend of tradition and cutting-edge research.

Day 1: London
Participants began their journey with a tour of The Francis Crick Institute, followed by a walking tour around King’s Cross, including several significant stops such as the new Google HQ at Pancras Square and the Wellcome Trust. The day continued with visits to two major hubs, the SC1 MedTech Hub at the Westminster Bridge Campus and the SC1 BioMedical Hub at the London Bridge Campus. A notable stop was made at University College London (UCL), a premier site of research and higher education.

Day 2: Cambridge
The tour moved to Cambridge, where attendees visited the historic Jesus College at the University of Cambridge, explored the Cambridge Science Park, and toured the expansive Cambridge Biomedical Campus and Granta Park, known for their roles in fostering innovation and research in life sciences.

Day 3: Oxford
The final day was spent in Oxford, starting with a visit to the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. A comprehensive walking tour of Oxford provided a cultural and historical context, enhancing the educational experience, capped off with a visit to Arc Oxford, a key site for life science research.
